Overview

Groundwrk Studios (“we”, “us”) operates the Groundwrk Wedding Planner app. We're an Australian business and handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it's used.

What we collect

Using the app, we collect information you and your wedding party choose to enter, including:

• Account details ~ name and email address for anyone with access to a wedding
• Guest information ~ names, contact details, addresses, and dietary requirements entered by the wedding owner or their party
• Wedding details ~ dates, venues, budgets, vendor details, and anything else added to the planner
• Photos uploaded to mood boards, either the shared board or anyone's personal one
• Billing information, handled directly by our payment processor (Stripe) ~ we don't store card details ourselves
• Basic technical information (like browser type) needed to keep the app working properly

How it's used

Information is used to run the app itself ~ storing your wedding plan, sending account and invite emails, processing payments, and providing support when you ask for it. We don't sell personal information, and we don't use guest data for anything beyond the wedding it was added to.

Who can see what

Access within a wedding is controlled by the wedding owner through account types and permissions ~ not everyone invited to a wedding can see everything by default. Personal mood boards and private notes are visible only to the person who created them, not even the wedding owner or their partner.

Where information is stored

Data is stored with Supabase, and payments are processed by Stripe. Both are established providers with their own security practices; information may be stored on servers outside Australia as a result.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time ~ contact us via the Support page in the app, or the details below. Wedding owners can remove guest or member information directly within the app.
